Vavumm Clothing Line Launch

Saturday evening we attended the private launch of Va'Vumm clothing line by Kendall Williams. A urban clothing line for women. This was our first time attending a clothing launch, so you can imagine how excited we were. The event took place at South Side on Lamar. There were so many fashionistas that came out to help support Kendall's launch. We were happy we were in attendance. Our seats were front row so we had a birds eye view to all the great looks.

We were first introduced to the line at Bree Moore Presents Fashion Show earlier this month. So once we heard about the launch we knew we had to attend. Kendall is a very talented designer she has outfits for day time, night and after 5. Not only did she have a great line to present she also had two great up and coming artist perform Adaire Thompson and Estevan. Va'vaumm is for sure a line to watch out for. Rumble on the Runway Fashion Show

Happy Saturday, last weekend we attended another awesome fashion show Presented by Eye Opener Ent, Yellow Diamond Ent, Have a Fit Boutique and Christian Catwalk called Rumble on the Runway held at The House of Blues. We had a great time and a portion of the proceeds went to Charlie's Angel's to help promote Lupus awareness.

The concept of the show reminded us of Project Runway. There were four designers who had to create three outfits in specific categories given to them by the judges. Only one designer would have a chance at their piece in the window display at Guns and Roses Boutique.

The event was hosted by Pink Lucy and K.C. Cooper of DameCooper Ent. They had DJ Duffey jammin on the ones and twos. The designers presenting were Jagged Hanger, Silent Reign, Rocky J, and Style Junkeyz. There also was a feature designer Christian Catwalk presenting her line as well. Even though, they were all talented only one could win. The judges Kanesha Davis-Waites (Mrs. Plus Size America), Derrick Robinson (Custom Persona Clothier) Willie Johnson III, and Nannette Watts chose Silent Reign. We have to admit we fell in love with her tulle ensemble it stole the show.

Minty Fresh

Hello again fashion lovers!! Today I felt minty clean. Lol I love pastel colors such as, mint, lilac, light pink, soft yellow and powder blue, they are so soft and feminine. I paired my mint on mint look with these gorgeous nude heels called Mysterii by Steve Madden. To complete the look I added a statement necklace from Jewelmint that I absolutely love. Bree Moore Fashion Show

Happy Monday fashionistas, we attended another fashion show this weekend. They are so fun and addictive. The show took place at the Aloft hotel in downtown Dallas. It was Bree Moore's first fashion show. The event benefited Children's Medical Center of Dallas in rememberence of Ne' Sya Castleberry. The purpose was to bring awareness to children with disabilities.

Bree Moore had quite a few designers for this to be her first fashion show. The designers were I.N.E.R.D, Coke Diamond, Cury Fox, Va'Vumm, Two Tone Elephant, Purpuz Clothing, JB Designs, Urbvn Empire Inx and Anthony Creation Label. Our favorites were Vavumm and Curvy Fox. We weren't able to get any pics because everything went so fast. Nevertheless, we met some cool people and did a little networking. The host was awesome as well, she kept us involved and laughing. Even though we didn't get many pics, we did get pics of our outfits. Go figure. Lol

Nickey's Bday Weekend Fun Day 2

Friday night was awesome,but Saturday was liberating and fun. I have always been scared of guns but I still wanted to shoot one. Lol So I decided to do it as part of my Bday weekend festivities. I wanted to wear something chic, cute and comfy. What do you guys think did I accomplish it? I got as many pics as I could it was hard because everything was going so fast. I ended up having to cancel going to the nite club and my Bday dinner due to my son and I getting sick. My Birthday was still awesome though.

Nickey's Bday Weekend Day 1

Yayyyy it's the weekend before my Bday. I am so amped. My birthday is so special to me. I'm celebrating all weekend. Blushing Around

Blog lovers today was a great day for me. Not only did I wear my new shoe I obsessed over from Steve Madden but my birthday weekend is getting closer. If you follow my instagram you saw I even styled this shoe on a couple of my Polyvore creations. Ok ok enough about the shoe and on to the outfit. I put this outfit together in like five minutes and I love the way it turned out. A chic linen blazer, joggers and a pair of banging sandals is always a simple way to look cute without trying to hard. Hope you enjoy the look.

Floral in the Office
